I've never heard that before but I'm going to do my best to put that into context and explain that I don't really care why someone might want to do this or not. If you do the exercise enough then you'll build muscle faster because you have more strength and lean body mass to work with. For some people doing compound workouts can get very time consuming so to have the compound movement and then be able to switch to isolation is a fantastic way to build muscle. This book isn't for everyone. I can understand why some men and others wouldn't like it. It's heavy, it's not easy, and it's quite the technical exercise book, some who have struggled with their lifting because of the technical side of this, I think for most people this book will just blow their mind. In my opinion this guide is well worth the read, although it'll leave more questions than answers. I did, at first, think I would just skim over everything because that's what many have done and have not enjoyed their learning from it. However, if you're looking for a simple and easy to follow system of workout to build and maintain muscle, whether you're male or female ectomorph, then definitely check this program out, its very easy to follow, and it actually works.
